Doug Patterson, CEO of Forest Products Certification Group, LLC

Doug leads the team of FSC certification specialists. Doug’s history with the Forest Stewardship Council and its certification program dates back to the founding meeting of the FSC in the 1990s.  His knowledge of FSC standards is among the best in the United States.  For you, this means that he can ensure that your company has the most practical and affordable FSC components.

Doug and his team have the ability to work hands-on, looking at your individual company to make the most of FSC certification opportunities specific to your business.  While our people working with you are called “Internal Auditors”, they function more as close advisors.  Doug’s goal is to keep group members comfortably up to standard.  Feedback from our group members has consistently shown Doug and our other internal auditors to be well received by businesses across the country – readily accessible, technically competent and pleasurable with which to work.

Doug has acted as a Lead Auditor conducting FSC CoC and CW audits since 1999. He currently offering consulting services to companies interested in becoming CoC and Controlled Wood certified and for existing certified companies to develop written procedures, conduct training, and to assist in resolving corrective actions and non-conformities.

Bob Edmonds, Founder of Forest Products Certification Group, LLC

As founder of the group, Bob leads our group member services.  Keeping group members stress free and well-served is what we have been proud of.  Bob’s goal is to continue this standard.

He was a Co-founder and Principal, Natural Resource Institute, LLC a New Hampshire company which provided services in natural resource education, organizational management and strategic planning. He received his BS and MS from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University. 

Bob has over 20 years of in-depth hands-on experience in the forest industry. Beginning as a Forester in the Adirondacks, he became a Controller, Vice President, President of lumber manufacturing firms. He understands the complexity of running production operations, meeting payrolls, customer service and having additional burdens similar to certification added to the mix of responsibilities. 

Coming to New Hampshire, Bob served as the statewide Forest Industry Specialist for the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension.  Soon, he headed up the Forestry and Wildlife Program for the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension. Now Professor Emeritus and a private contractor, he has provided services which have included strategic planning, writing manuals, the current New Hampshire Forest Resource Plan and conducting FSC audits and assessments.

Bob has been a licensed New Hampshire Forester (License #10) and a Society of American Foresters Certified Forester. He has been active in the forestry profession and in his community, receiving citizen awards in two communities where he has lived.

J.B. Cullen, Accounts Receivable

J.B. graduated from Paul Smiths College, West Virginia University, and University of New Hampshire. He has worked for the New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands as a forester/administrator for 35 years. J.B. was elected as Sergeant At Arms for the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the last four years.

Lindsay Seggelke, Auditor

Lindsay gained first hand experience running a CoC program at the site level starting in 2006 and switched over to the world of auditing & consulting in 2009.  She’s originally from Pittsburgh and now lives in the western suburbs of Denver with her three loud kids, one quiet husband, and loveable pup – any of whom may be spotted in the background during an upcoming virtual audit.

Taylor Crawford Bucci, Auditor

Taylor has been working as an FSC Chain of Custody consultant and auditor since 2007. He’s a graduate of SUNY ESF and currently resides in Upstate New York. When he’s not working with clients, he’s busy playing music with a few local Syracuse, NY based bands.
